You play as a shipwrecked merchant, struggling through the rain...until you meet the Lady. See a Sword in a Stone. Things progress from there. After you become better equipped and set out to carve yourself a kingdom in a foreign land, it could be something happens in the forest...or not.

Updated April 5th, now available for PC, Mac, Linux and Android (via supporter links below). Four new adult scenes - added to Scene Replay; More than 1121 animation images...more than last time, and more than 40 unique animations (more smaller ones as well). 270+ still images also to tell the story of the 19th, 20th, and part of the 21st day in the story. Updated timeline in game to 22 days until the ceremony, which means... - next update, the .85, will be the first of the last updates; in other words, the endings, the culmination, will be in .80, with bug fixes / updates after that addressing only issues along those lines
Fixed quest bug with Briley; Fixed quest bug with Uma; Fixed quest bug with Pepper; Fixed issue with Scene Replay for the Polly missionary scene; Fixed issue with Briley scene (afternoon) skipping to evening; Fixed a few lunches where energy was not restored from eating; Made Jack the default name which fixes the issues in the Scene Gallery where the name was missing and the text would have a (blank) thus making some of it read strange on repeat. Fixed multiple images that weren't correct due to removal of the legacy CG gallery feature; Fixed a bug with Uma in the evening when you talk with her.
What was changed & improved: Goals in game were given purely in conversation; now after you finish getting the first quest from Feol, you can hit "Q" in game to see current Missions, and completed ones. This way if you're stuck, use that menu to figure out the next stuff to do.
What's been removed: A lot of the overlapping lesbian scenes, the existing threesome scene with Summer, Spring & MC has been removed and a new one with 8 animations+ is included instead (it's infinitely better, sneak previews are on Discord). The previous "Image Gallery," was a poor experience, so it's also been removed (eventually if there's demand, I might add 'bonus pics' or similar which aren't in the game that you can find, but that's not implemented, only an idea).
Other highlights & details: 41 scenes in the new Scene replay feature (each of these has at least one animation, usually multiple) Additional scenes with Spring, brand new and 8+ animations; Autumn (seamstress) with 8+ animations; 3 new animations + stills with Polly that replaced a legacy scene; Every image + animation has been up-scaled with AI software from 1280 by 720 to 1920 by 1080, or Full HD; this results in a small amount of artifacts on less than five percent of images, I'd guess. in most cases, the upscale + enhance made the images better. Ending clarity - easier to get to with the Mission system, and I changed the code as well to make it easier where before, you had to be nice to Wendy and have at least a three plus love score to get to the ending sequence of scenes. Skip the mini-games; I've heard this one a few times, now instead of being forced to play cards to pursue Summer, you can click "Skip" on the screen to - literally - just skip to where you'd have won the min-game. Same with the hunting for chickens scene with Spring, it's a single menu option each time to "win," if you don't want to play the mini-game of clobbering the chickens with a knife. All images optimized with a tool to convert them to 'webp' format; the result is the new download size is only 2.85 gigabytes in size, instead of being much larger for the full HD content. GUI overhaul, you'll see on the intro screen & other top level screens. Added an 'about' page for the game (previously was the default page with no detail). Spelling, grammar, and other story improvements, rewrites of partial scenes to have better dialogue / character development & similar.
v0.30 Well, for starters, it's the largest monthly update *ever* with more than 250 new images and 14 new animations. (Since the .30 update is now available, which is larger, this was my second biggest update, but largest at time of publishing) :) There are three new adult scenes, two of which are threesomes with multiple animations in the scene. Text wise, it's about 40% longer than any previous monthly update as well and the content in this build adds a full 3 days of in game time and more than a dozen new scenes. In total, there are now over 1800 images in the current version of Sword of Wonder, as well as 125,000 words of text. v.0.28 Animation (new) finished for .28: Polly kissing Encounter with Uma Wendy riding I've got more on my list to finish but those are the ones that are complete & only waiting on writing to be added to the update.
So far, I'm about 35% on images and about 14% on text for the update. Today I found another bug but again, won't be releasing a .27d, however, it's possible I might aim for a .28 "alpha," release, to both address the bugs I've fixed as well as to ship new content & get early feedback.
v0.25 * Three new sound tracks for various scenes * 140 + new static renders inside the game * Ten plus new scenes versus the last update * Six new adult animations featuring Polly, Spring, Briley and Uma (depending on the scene).
v.22 What's new so far versus the .21 release? 226 total images, up from 142 (excluding 30 FPS animation) - nearly as large an update as the latest Romancing the Kingdom .45 :)
Content updates: * new card mini-game (please leave feedback) * new kitchen mini-game * a third possible achievement (the first two would require playing twice, so the second sequential achievement) included in game.
Other changes: Spelling, grammar and bugs as usual. Updated title screen with new version, new start icon and taskbar icons for Windows (not yet validated in Mac or Linux, only Windows 10).
Known issues (will be fixed in the official .22 release in mid-feb): * If you load a save file from .21 it may cause a crash. (Already fixed in the .22 release, but, the below is the 2nd beta that I shipped a week ago for the two highest reward tiers).

v0.19 It's very, very close to the point where this story intersects with the beginning of Romancing the Kingdom. Now at 76 renders, up from the most recent Christmas release which had 46. That's a massive increase :)

Added new code to prevent the bugs, should be fine, also added code to ensure events trigger and contextualized a lot of dialogue.
